Everyone loves photos of flowers, but they're usually on calendars; fridge magnets; birthday cards etc. Here you will find a selection of flower photos taken by Chris Quinlan designed to be printed BIG, (or small if you prefer). Chris wanted to be able to offer you ready-to-hang prints as well as greeting cards and unframed prints, consequently we have decided to offer the photos for sale through  RedBubble. RedBubble will print your picture to order and deliver it direct to you. All of the photos are offered as limited edition prints with print runs limited to a maximum of 100. Photos will be removed from sale when the print run is complete.

Chris was born in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1955. She lived there until leaving home for university at the age of 18. She married in 1981 and has one son. Chris studied Botany at university but was never able to use this professionally. Since graduating she has worked full-time in Local Government but has retained a love of flowers.

As a youngster, she was given an Instamatic "point and shoot" camera. She never got on very well with this, usually not managing to shoot what she pointed at! She therefore lost interest in photography for many years. It has only been in recent times, since her husband bought her a much better camera to start taking jewellery photographs for another venture, that her interest has been kindled.

Many of the photos on this site have a special importance for Chris - The red roses were part of an anniversary bouquet, the narcissus and crab apple grow in her garden and the camellia stands sentinel by the front door.

Chris now lives with her husband and son in Shropshire.
