Chris was born in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1955. She lived there until leaving home for
university at the age of 18. She married in 1981 and has one son. Chris studied Botany
at university but was never able to use this professionally. Since graduating she
has worked full-
As a
youngster, she was given an Instamatic "point and shoot" camera. She never got on
very well with this, usually not managing to shoot what she pointed at! She therefore
lost interest in photography for many years. It has only been in recent times, since
her husband bought her a much better camera to start taking jewellery photographs
for another venture, that her interest has been kindled.
Many of the photos on this
site have a special importance for Chris -
Chris now lives with her husband and son in Shropshire.
